Usage

Health Care
Using MR100 for health careThe health care industry is one of the larges and fastest-growing industries. Among the greatest risks in elderly health care is the risk of falling when there is no-one around to help the person. A sensor from Motion Recording can be worn by the person. It will detect whether the person falls or shown otherwise unnormal movement patterns and send an automatic alarm to the health personell.
Logistics and transportation
Using MR100 for logisticsThere is a lot of high-value equipment and technology transported every day. On the global market, such equipment must be transported over vast distances and be loaded onto several different means of transportation. When equipment gets damaged during transportation, the manufacturers risk loosing revenue and reputation and the customers risk loosing time and money. By providing one of Motion Recording's data loggers along with the equipment which is about to be transported, it is later possible to determine how it was handeled during transportation, and wether it sustained shock and vibration which could have the potential of damaging the equipment.
Sport
Using MR100 for sport Motion Recording's sensors can help athleets get additional information on how well they are performing. It can give information on how much the person have been in physical activity and his energy consumption.
Vehicle rentage and leasing
Using MR100 for vehicle monitoringBy supplying rentage and leasing cars with one of Motion Recording's sensors, it is possible to determine how the car was handeled by the customer. This can be used to determine the the estimated lifetime of the vehicle and can be used to get better insurance. It can also the used to provide a certificate telling whether the car was handeled properly by the former customers.
Livestock
Using MR100 for livestock monitoring If a livestock is wearing one of Motion Recording's sensors, it is possible to analyse its movement patterns to determine its stress level and whether it is in its geastation period.
Equipment handeling
The lifetime of equipment can be estimated based on how it has been used and the various shocks and vibrations it has sustained. Analysis of shock data can also help determining the cause when equipment malfunctions.
Authentication
Persons move in characteristic motions. By analysing movement data and comparing two datasets, it is to some extent possible to determine wheter they belong to the same person. Motion Recording's sensors can therefore act as authentication devices and for instance providing access controll to low security areas.
Video games
With the introduction of Nintendo's Wii-controller, it is a growing market for game consoles where the user interacts using his movements.
